Aims & Scope

Journal of Current opinion in crop science is an international peer-reviewed multidisciplinary high-quality open-access journal that publishes original research, short communications and reviews in all areas of the fundamental and applied plant or crop sciences. Articles published in the Journal of Current opinion in crop science are of interest to researchers, educators, and practitioners.

The scope of articles in the journal includes: Botany, plant breeding and genetics and seed science, horticulture—germplasm collection, conservation, and utilization; plant biotechnology, molecular genetics, and genomics; nanotechnology; bioinformatics.

Biochemistry, phytochemistry, natural products, and essential oils; crop physiology and metabolism; crop production, plant and soil nutrition, and agro-ecology; pest and disease resistance; and plant-like microorganisms, including fungi, yeast, algae, and blue-green algae (cyanobacteria).

Food chemistry, food quality, and food composition analysis and biomedical, health-beneficial, and nutritionally enhanced crop plants are appropriate.

This journal also invites articles on all aspects of crop/plant sciences.
